Our story started in 2022 with a shared love for the outdoors. We’re a husband-and-wife team who camp, hike, and live outside whenever we can. What began as personal adventures quickly grew into GOHIKE Outdoor Shop—a place built to share reliable gear we personally use, test, and trust in real outdoor conditions.

Running an outdoor shop changed everything. It gave us constant, honest feedback from the field and from customers who care about preparedness. Among all the gear we worked with, one product category kept proving its value: compressed emergency food. Lightweight, calorie-dense, long-lasting, and essential not only for outdoor trips, but also for emergency readiness. We saw the potential—and the problems. So instead of just selling what already existed, we decided to build something better.

That decision led to PEAK4RATION, our own in-house brand. Designed in Canada and shaped by real outdoor use, PEAK4RATION focuses on dependable emergency and outdoor nutrition—products we would confidently carry ourselves, far from help. Today, this website remains first and foremost an outdoor gear shop through GOHIKE. But it is also the home of PEAK4RATION—the brand born from our experience, our standards, and our belief that good gear should earn its place outdoors.
